Motrola's Razr Plus Features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Processor

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, also referred to as the Razr Plus, is the latest addition to Motorola’s lineup of foldable smartphones. This device maintains the iconic clamshell design and features a 6.9-inch primary OLED display with a resolution of 2,640 x 1,080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also sports a 3.6-inch cover display, enhancing usability when folded. Under the hood, the Razr 50 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM. It boasts a dual-camera system on the rear, with both sensors at 50MP, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies. The battery capacity has been increased to 4,000mAh, and the device offers IPX8 water resistance, ensuring durability.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is expected to be priced at €1,200 in Europe, which is approximately $1,292 USD. For the US market, the device, known as the Razr+ 2024, will retail for $999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The smartphone is anticipated to launch in June 2024, aligning with the pricing strategy of its predecessor, the Razr+ 2023. Consumers will have a choice of three color options: Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Hot Pink. The Razr 50 Ultra aims to compete in the foldable market segment and will be available for purchase in the summer, likely around the time of its predecessor’s first anniversary.
